The new edition of "Special Magic Pieces" is based on the ancestral art of the Chiapas community. Chiapas is a southern Mexican state bordering Guatemala.

 

Its high mountainous areas and dense tropical forest have several archaeological sites of Mayan and Spanish colonial towns. The art of their ancestors is based on color, harmony and forms.

 

Each detail is part of a conceptual universe of pre-Hispanic roots, full of symbolism that speak of founding couples, gods, intercessory animals or square universes.

For this collaboration we have worked with artisans who hand-woven leather belts, ethnic vests and embroidered  jackets with colored threads and covered buttons.
